how it works

This is the bit we want to make incredibly easy for you. We know sunscreen can be confusing. So watch our video that explains how to make it work for your morning routine without pilling or ruining your make-up. And see how to make sure you get the full level of protection this product can deliver.

Sunscreen is a bit like medicine. There’s actually a specific dose that’s required to deliver the SPF number on the bottle. We spell this out for you so that you’re in no doubt – because it's really hard to know what “apply generously” actually means, right?

Protecting your face is easy.
  1. Apply after cleansing, serums and moisturiser but before make-up.
  2. Use the for an even layer that absorbs into your face (not your hands!) – to achieve SPF50, you need to use 6 pumps for your face and 6 pumps for your neck.
Pro-tip to make application even easier, do it in 2 layers: apply 3 pumps, wait a few minutes and then repeat.
  3. Stroke it evenly to cover the area, and allow to dry down onto skin for a flawless, primer-like finish. We recommend a stroking, downwards motion at the temples to ensure even application.

Wait for Flawless Gossamer to fully absorb before moving on to apply make-up, if wearing it (shouldn’t take long!).

Love it

I normally avoid spfs because come out with blotches, cystic type of spots.I know I should wear them because outside all the time but this I can put on and one, feel confident that my skin won’t break out and two, doing what all skincare people say.. put on spf.

Lovely under makeup and doesn’t sting my eyes like other sunscreens. Think it really helps with my redness and keeping it under control. Like that it feels moisturising good. Always wear it!

A good mineral sunscreen, does pill a bit though

I use the Gossamer tinted as my regular SPF and wanted to try the untinted version. On my skin this has quite a matte finish and does pill a bit. My skin feels a bit more dry after application. It does not suit my skin as much as the tinted version, which I find is more nourishing.

Lovely spf

This is a lovely spf it feels like your putting moisturiser on your skin. I started using the daily sunscreen which was also nice but it started making my eyes sore after a while so I switched to gossamer and it’s even better!
It makes your skin glow after applying it and it’s great under make up. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely product

I am desperate for the sunscreens to work as I absolutely love the cleanser, moisturiser and brightly. I have now tried both sunscreen products and can’t decide between the two. With both products I only use half the recommended pumps as I find my face feels caked. The gossamer has a tendency to make me sweat a bit which I find a little odd. I still get a few breakouts with both sunscreens so I am trying to persevere and use a couple of times a wk rather than every day. The gossamer is very rich, thick and creamy as the sunscreen is more liquid and lighter. Worth trying both to see which you prefer. Personal preference to the consistency of the product.
