Dr Rishika Sinha
Dr Rishika Sinha MA MBBChir MRCP UK (Dermatology) is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist on the specialist register. She completed her medical training at Cambridge University and then went onto carry out further specialist training in Dermatology at some of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals. Rishika is currently an NHS Consultant Dermatologist at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where she excels in treating common inflammatory skin issues like acne, eczema and rosacea with expertise, empathy and compassion.
She is also the lead for the Specialist Skin Cancer Multi-disciplinary team for four year and now chairs the Royal Marsden Partners, West London Skin Cancer Group which aims to align and standardise regional skin cancer pathways.
Whilst on specialist training rotation at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital she developed an interest in skin cancer and undertook clinical research at the prestigious Royal Marsden Hospital into the effects of targeted medication to metastatic melanoma. Rishika has presented in this area of expertise at both national and international forums and has published widely on the condition of metastatic malignant melanoma.
Rishika is actively involved in teaching medical students, GP trainees, dermatology trainees as well as allied healthcare professionals. She understands how educating patients about their skin disease can be an essential part of their treatment plan and feels passionate about imparting a holistic approach to her patients. Rishika is a spokesperson for the British Skin Foundation and is an international panel member on eco-beauty and sustainable dermatology.
