Is Flawless Gossamer Sunscreen SPF 50 a mineral or chemical sunscreen?

Flawless Gossamer Sunscreen SPF50 is a mineral sunscreen which comes in both a tinted and untinted version to protect and perfect for a healthy glow.

I find that mineral sunscreens tend to work best for those with very sensitive skin and concerns like eczema, perioral dermatitis and rosacea.

How much Flawless Gossamer Sunscreen should I use?

The most important thing with sunscreen is to apply the correct dose. The SPF factor is only guaranteed if you apply enough product and it’s more than you might think! You need 2 milligrams per square centimetre. That translates to a quarter of a teaspoon (or two finger lengths) for the face and a shot glass amount (30ml) for the whole body.

Flawless Gossamer Tint SPF 50 Tint 01

First tube of this stopped pumping completely after 3/4 days, had to cut the bottom off to get to the product which was very thick. Dr Sam's team quickly replaced it and so far all ok. The tint for fair skins is perfect: neutral, not obviously yellow or pink, which I much prefer to the untainted version.

The skin on my cheeks doesn't seem to sting when I use this sunscreen so will continue to use. I must admit I do find it a little thick and wish it were thinner in consistency but due to it not causing any irritation I will persevere. Tint 01 is perfect for my fair skin. Dr Sam definitely knows how to make products for sensitve skins. So with my skin now improving I am very pleased with the products.

Ugh, gutted about this. It is really thick and stick to any dry areas of the skin. I am extremely surprised at the performance of this product having read all the glowing reviews.
