Where does lanolin come from?
Lanolin comes from our woolly friends, sheep - it’s a substance produced to care for their wool and skin and has similar properties to our sebum. Our lanolin is from sheep that are raised specifically for their wool. The lanolin then gets purified to a medical-grade standard, ready to meet the needs of dry, delicate skin.
Is lanolin cruelty free?
Yes, it can be considered cruelty free. Sheep are not harmed during the process of obtaining wool.
What happens to the sheep?
Lanolin is a by-product of wool that is used in the manufacture of clothing, carpets and other ‘wooly’ items. This means lanolin is a by-product of this process + has no effect on the demand for wool. The sheep are not harmed in this process.
How much Flawless Lip Tint should I use?
As much as you need - a little goes a long way.
I find it hard to get the product out of the tube, what can I do?
Pop it in your jeans pocket! A little warming will make the lanolin more malleable and easier to squeeze out.
