Is it vegan (lactic acid – milk-derived?)

Yes. Our lactic acid is 100% vegan, produced by fermentation from sugar.

Is it OK for children, or is there a minimum age for use due to AHAs?

Because younger skin naturally renews itself more quickly, we recommend waiting until at least 12 before introducing active products containing AHAs.

Is it fine for sensitive/eczema-prone/broken skin?

Yes — it’s clinically proven to be suitable for sensitive and eczema-prone skin. Do not use on broken skin or during an active eczema flare-up.

Can it be used before or after waxing?

Wait at least 48 hours after waxing before applying AHA’s to minimise the risk of irritation.

What about after shaving legs?

Yes — it can be used after shaving. It also works well alongside your razor for a smoother finish and to reduce ingrown hairs.

Is it safe for those with nut allergies (mandelic acid)?

Yes. Our mandelic acid is synthetically produced and does not contain nut proteins, so it is safe for those with nut allergies.

Is it safe to use Flawless Body Cleanser while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Yes, Flawless Body Cleanser is suitable for use during pregnancy and when breastfeeding.

Why can’t I just use Flawless Body Cleanser on my face as well as body?

Flawless Body Cleanser is formulated specifically for the body. While gentle, it contains AHAs that are not suitable for the delicate eye area, which requires extra care.

Please note: This product contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) that may increase skin sensitivity to the sun. Remember to use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and seek shade between the hours of 11am - 3pm.
