Product Details

An elegant, weightless daily shield for your skin, it performs beautifully under make-up, and won’t clog pores. It offers powerful protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays with 11.8% Zinc Oxide and 7% Octinoxate.

It’s fortified with 5% Niacinamide, so it brightens and boosts skin whilst helping keep pores clear and skin calm. Think of it as a serum in a sunscreen – it even makes your skin more tolerant of retinoids.

Suitable for all skin-types, including blemish-prone skin. Layers beautifully with Flawless Moisturiser.

Dr Sam Says:

“Did you know that regularly wearing sunscreen can actually allow your skin to repair itself? So you’re not just maintaining the status quo – by wearing sunscreen on a daily basis, you’re actually improving the first signs of premature ageing. (That’s before you even get around to applying eye cream or a serum.)” [1]

What makes it flawless?

Non-greasy, primer-like finish

Won’t clog pores + helps keep them clear

Broad-spectrum, SPF50

how to use

This is the bit we want to make incredibly easy for you. We know sunscreen can be confusing. So watch our video that explains how to make it work for your morning routine without pilling or ruining your make-up. And see how to make sure you get the full level of protection this product can deliver.

Sunscreen is a bit like medicine. There’s actually a specific dose that’s required to deliver the SPF number on the bottle. We spell this out for you so that you’re in no doubt – because it's really hard to know what “apply generously” actually means, right?

Protecting your face is easy.
  1. Apply after cleansing, serums and moisturiser but before make-up.
  2. Use the for an even layer that absorbs into your face (not your hands!) – to achieve SPF50, you need to use 3 pumps for your face and 3 pumps for your neck. (Believe me, your neck will love you for this).
  3. Stroke it evenly to cover the area, and allow to dry down onto skin for a flawless, primer-like finish.

Wait for Flawless Sunscreen to fully absorb before moving on to apply make-up (shouldn’t take long!).

Ruined my skin multiple times

I have experimented with this sunscreen since i brought it. I really wanted to believe that i had found a sunscreen that wouldn’t make me look greasy. I struggle with acne and with the right products. My skin is under control. When i first used this i had a few pimples. I continued to use it and began to break out. I left it for a while. Went back to my usual routine. And once again tried to use the sunscreen (since a paid a large amount for it). Once again i broke out. Leaving me with scars that i had to live with. This was quite upsetting. I have done this cycle a few times to make sure it was the sunscreen that caused this. I can confidently say it is. I have to now deal with the scarring from this. Unfortunately , although pricey and “the right ingredients” this just didn't work for me.

3 pumps is too much

I do like this sunscreen. It definitely hasn’t cause breakouts. But 3 pumps is way too much. I’ve never been able to apply make up over 3 pumps because even after an hour it still hasn’t soaked in enough. I use one pump and it still takes a good 15 minutes to soak in. I think it is unrealistic to use three pumps on a daily basis.

A truly elegant sunscreen

Though many sunscreens claim to be elegantly textured and user friendly, this is one of the very few that actually delivers. It is moisturizing yet non greasy and contains several beneficial ingredients beyond the zinc and octinixate. And like all of Dr. Sam's products, the packaging is elegant yet sensible!

Nice product

I lovely rich sunscreen that I feel comfortable putting on my sensitive face! Although the recommended 3 pumps is a bit too much for me as my skin can get oily with so much product. I feel well protected and can often skip on moisturiser as this feels so nourishing
