From beach to beachclub - my no make-up make-up look!

So you’ve spent the day by the beach. Now it’s time for a cocktail whilst the sun sets at a vibey bar. How do you elevate your look without looking like you tried too hard?

It’s easy.

With just 4 products, here’s how it’s done. What’s key here is that everything looks dewy. No edges. No severe lines. Just a golden glow for that magical hour!

I like to start with ultra-hydrated skin - if you’re not sure how, check out last week’s video on my hyper-hydration playbook! The key is to start with an ultra-nourished (but not greasy) base.

Now after a day at the beach, I’m often wearing an untinted sunscreen that I’ll top up as the day goes on. For this look, I’ll switch to using a tinted SPF - for my skin-tone, that means Flawless Gossamer Tint. If your skin-tone is warmer, then try Heliocare or Ultra-violette.

This delivers that translucent base that’s a little blurring and evens skin out but melts into skin so it doesn’t look like foundation!

Then we do any pin-point concealing that’s needed. Again, working here with sheer coverage - nothing that blocks the underlying skin too much, even if you have dark circles.

Use a buffing brush and blend away. No edges, remember!

Then we need a flattering wash of colour - this is where the right shade of neutral brings it all together. I use a dab of Flawless Lip Tint on my lips, cheeks eyelids and even on the bridge of nose. This infuses skin with a gorgeous healthy gloss and the colour adapts to suit your skin-tone. Obsessed!

With lashes curled in the morning, I pop on a layer of tubing mascara (no flaking!) at the roots of the upper and lower lids. I love Kevyn Aucoin Le Volume Mascara.

The end result is healthy, glossy skin - like you just left the gym!
