Yes you may - you may experience transient dryness or flaking. If you suffer from breakouts, it’s possible to experience purging again. This transition can be eased by using smaller amounts less often, as you did at the beginning. It should resolve with continued use.

The Dr Sam System is built around using a retinoid at night and azelaic acid by day, in combination with other complimentary active ingredients. As the power of your retinoid step increases at night, it becomes logical to focus on azelaic acid use in the day to minimise irritation but gain all the benefits of using 2 such synergistic ingredients together.

These are naturally more sensitive areas and caution should be applied. We’d recommend starting off with using Flawless Nightly Eye Serum around the eye area for 3 months first. Some individuals might then be able to increase to using Flawless Nightly Pro around the eyes; others will find it too powerful. Similarly, with the neck, Flawless Nightly Serum should be used for 3 months comfortably before attempting to use Flawless Nightly Pro.
