When I made the decision to go into colour, I thought long and hard about the way I wanted to start. What product could I create that would be the easiest to incorporate into the range so far?
For me, once I’ve done my skin, the thing I rely on next is something on my lips. I spoke to make-up artists and asked them what was the one product that they felt was missing. So many said that they resorted to mixing lipstick with lip balm to get that “your lips but better” stain, but with a more natural sheen than you get from traditional gloss formulas : think Clinique Black Honey for lips. That resonated with me - I’d always loved that kind of product.
So I set about making something even better. Something that make-up artists, my customers and me would all love!
