Frequently Asked Questions
Is lanolin cruelty-free?
What happens to the sheep?
Lanolin is a by-product of wool that is used in the manufacture of clothing, carpets and other ‘wooly’ items. This means lanolin is a by-product of this process + has no effect on the demand for wool. The sheep are not harmed in this process.
Is it fragrance-free?
Yes. 100%
Has it been tested on animals?
No. Never.
Is it vegan?
No (because of lanolin). It is suitable for vegetarians though.
Is it gluten-free?
Is it suitable for men?
Is it suitable for men?
Yes. Skin is skin!
Is it suitable for teens?
Totally.
Is it safe in pregnancy?
Yes.
Does it contain Parabens?
No.
Does it contain Phthalates?
No.
Is it safe to ingest?
We wouldn’t recommend this. But just to reassure you, a safety assessment of a lip balm always considers a possibility of ingesting some product due to where it’s being applied so Flawless Lip has been safety assessed to this standard. But again, best not to eat it!
How much should I use?
As much as you need - a little goes a long way.
I find it hard to get the product out of the tube, what can I do?
Pop it in your jeans pocket! A little warming will make the lanolin more malleable and easier to squeeze out.
